More than 1,000 couples gathered at the huge Naughty in N'awlins' parade in New Orleans. Many stripped off to celebrate at the event, which promotes the 'normalness' of swinging. The week-long convention consists of seminars, workshops, naked speed dating events, nightly erotic theme balls and a 'groundbreaking' Sexual Freedom Parade. The Parade aims to bring awareness to polyamorous relationships, archaic laws outlawing sex toys as well as couples in the swinging lifestyle. Keira Harris of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF), explains the importance of the parade: "In an ideal world, I would not be afraid to show affection to both of my partners in public [and] my husband's girlfriend would be able to get the same insurance benefits that I get" Meanwhile Alisha, 26 from Texas who attended Naughty in Nawlins with husband, Robert, says: "Robert and I have been swinging for over a year and it has definitely enhanced our relationship. "Swinging is not just about having fun, it's about honestly communicating with your partner, meeting new people and making new friends. "Naughty in N'awlins is one of our favourite events of the year." This year the organisers of Europe's biggest outdoor swingers-fest cancelled claiming "trolls" and 'media intrusion' caused complications. For the last two years the raunchy event has been held in Flaxley, near Westbury-on-Severn.
