Man caught red handed shooting woman on mobile camera in Singapore train; video goes viral

Man caught red handed shooting woman on mobile camera in Singapore train; video goes viral Man caught red-handed shooting woman on mobile camera in Singapore train; video goes viral A man recording a woman on his phone while on a train has gone viral. The man was caught red-handed after the girl recorded him capturing her video on a train in Singapore. In a Facebook post, Uma Mageswari writes, a Singaporean of Indian origin writes how the man was shamelessly taking her video while it unknowingly was being reflected on the window behind him. When Uma boarded the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) she didn’t know the sad turn of events that would take place. After boarding the train she found a man quickly taking the seat right opposite to despite the compartment being empty. Her Facebook post reads, “He then proceeded to whip out his phone and I think the rest speaks for itself once you view the video.” Disgusted and angered by the man’s act, she filmed the man who was behaving casually looking away from his phone while he was actually recording her. Uma then highlighted the incident and reported it to the SPF who was helpful. During investigation “this chap was found to be in possession of similar videos though I am told they were rather obscene in nature of unsuspecting victims.” The incident shows how it is still unsafe for women to travel in public transport. On one hand, while we talk about women empowerment and feminism, on the other hand, there are people like these. Uma’s Facebook post has gone viral after she posted it yesterday. It has over 8.9 likes and more than 17,000 shares. People commented saying that the man should be punished for the act. A Facebook user wrote, “Omg! That is deplorable!!!!! Good on you for taking action.” Another social media user wrote. “That’s really gross and disgusting. These people should be publicly shamed and livelihood destroyed aft least for few years. Mere detention will not be sufficient.”
